This widget provides the ability for travellers to track their coming trips and for travel arrangers to trace the location of travellers who are away from their home city. As a Health and Safety guideline, it may be vital for a company to know the location of its employees on any given day. The widget displays the traveller's location for bookings that include either a hotel stay or a return flight (i.e., trips that begin and end in the same city).
Important Note
The widget will not display bookings that include one-way flights.
A badge with the count of travellers at each location is displayed on a world map.
Hovering over the badge will display Traveller details.
Alternatively, the carousel view can be used to display details of the traveller’s trip.
- A tile with the Current location and Next location indicates a booking that contains a return flight.
- A tile with only the Current location indicates a booking that is a hotel only booking.
By default, the widget plots the traveller locations on a given day. There is the option to view traveller locations over the next 7 days or the next 30 days.;
To do this, click on the Settings icon at the top right hand corner of the widget and select the time frame as required.
Note
If the user logged in is a Traveller, the widget will display the locations of their upcoming bookings (flights or hotel only).
