Ticket Credits Widget

When plans change some airlines will hold the ticket in credit to be used at a later date. This is sometimes referred to as an ‘Unused Ticket’, ‘Ticket credit’, or ‘Ticket on hold’. With Ticket Credits switched on, any ticket credit available for the traveller will be displayed for domestic searches once the travel date on the original booking has passed.
The Ticket Credits widget displays the top five unused tickets about to expire based on User Roles and the Unused Ticket Credit configuration applied.
The unused tickets will be displayed in order of expiry date, with those about to expire at the top of the list.
The Padlock icon icon_non_transfer.png is used to identify if the unused ticket can be shared with other travellers. If the Padlock icon icon_non_transfer.png is displayed – this indicates the unused ticket cannot be shared. Likewise, if the padlock icon is not displayed – the ticket can be shared.
Note

The option to share unused ticket credit with other travellers or not is a result of Airline rules and/or company travel policy.

Note
  • The Ticket credits widget is displayed (via the Dashboard).
  • Where the Corporate Company does not have the Unused Ticket Module activated, the widget will still display on the Dashboard, but in an empty state i.e. no unused tickets displayed.

Traveller/Travel Arranger Options

My Credits

MY CREDITS displays unused tickets available for you to use when creating a booking.

If your company travel policy defines that unused tickets can be shared, you will potentially see unused tickets for other Travellers that are available for them to utilise.

Click the VIEW ALL link to view all available credits in the Ticket Management App.

 

My Travellers, Credits

MY TRAVELLERS’ CREDITS in only displayed where the user has access to other Traveller Profiles i.e. Travel Arrangers, Authorisers, and Corporate Admin users. This will not be displayed for Travellers.

By default, MY TRAVELLERS’ CREDITS will be displayed, and the widget will display the top five tickets about to expire for travellers the user has access to.

To view unused tickets available to themselves when they are travelling, the user simply selects MY CREDITS.
