Your company travel policy will determine if the option to approve bookings via a web link is available.
Where this has been activated, there will be approve/decline buttons within the request for authorisation email. Upon selecting the required button, you will be directed to a web page that allows you to approve/decline the booking.
Note
To view a list of bookings you are required to approve, use the filter Requiring my approval in the Booking list.
How to Approve/Decline a Booking via Web Link?
- Open your web approval email.
Click the Approve travel request or Decline travel request button.
Upon clicking the relevant button, you will be directed to a web page that will allow you to authorise/reject the booking.
- If Authorisation code is NOT required...
- For Approval, a success message is displayed.
For Rejection, enter a Reason for rejection and click the Decline Travel Request button.
If an Authorisation code is required...
For Approval, enter an Authorisation code and click the Approve Travel Request button.
For Rejection, enter a Rejection code, enter a Reason for rejection and click the Decline Travel Request button.
A message is displayed when a booking has been approved or rejected. You can exit the browser.
