Your company travel policy will determine if the option to approve bookings via a web link is available.
Where this has been activated, there will be approve/decline buttons within the request for authorisation email. Upon selecting the required button, you will be directed to a web page that allows you to approve/decline the booking.
Note
To view a list of bookings you are required to approve, use the filter Requiring my approval in the Booking list.
How to Approve/Decline a Booking via Web Link?
- Open your web approval email.
- Click the Approve travel request or Decline travel request button.
Upon clicking the relevant button, you will be directed to a web page that will allow you to authorise/reject the booking.
- If Authorisation code is NOT required...
- For Approval, a success message is displayed.
- For Rejection, enter a Reason for rejection and click the Decline Travel Request button.
- If an Authorisation code is required...
- For Approval, enter an Authorisation code and click the Approve Travel Request button.
- For Rejection, enter a Rejection code, enter a Reason for rejection and click the Decline Travel Request button.
A message is displayed when a booking has been approved or rejected. You can exit out of the browser.
