A combination of your user permissions, content and status of the booking will determine whether you can cancel a booking online after it has been created or whether you will need to contact your Travel Expert to cancel the booking on your behalf.
User Permissions - By default, you will have the option to Cancel a booking. However, if your company travel policy does not allow you to modify/cancel bookings, you will need to contact your internal company travel administrator.
If the booking has been ticketed, you will need to contact your Travel Expert if Cancel a Booking - After a Booking is Ticketed option has not been activated.
How to cancel a booking online?
To cancel a booking online...
- Retrieve your booking.
- Expand the MANAGE menu and select Cancel entire trip from the drop-down list.
- On the Cancel Booking confirmation dialog, click Yes.
Note
If there is a hotel in the booking, depending on your company travel policy, you may be required to acknowledge/accept the hotel cancellation policy.
Where there is more than one step to initiate the cancellation process of an entire booking, the number of steps is displayed.
Upon selecting YES the next step in the cancellation process is displayed.
