Change Start and End Dates of a Booking

A quick way to change your departing flight and returning flight is to use the Move trip option. If your booking has a hotel/car, this is a great option to use as it will automatically align the hotel/ car booking with the new flight dates.
If you need to change the route of your flight, you will need to use Advance Flight Changes - Pre Ticketing.
This option is only available if your booking has not already been ticketed, so if your booking has been ticketed, you will need to use Advance Flight Changes - Post Ticketing to change your flight.

How to change the dates/times of departing/returning flights?

To change dates/times of departing/ returning flights...

  1. Retrieve your booking.

  2. Expand the MANAGE menu and select Move trip from the drop-down list.

    Note

    The Move trip option is not displayed, it is because...

    • You either do not have permission to modify the booking, OR
    • The booking does not meet the criteria to make the change using this option

    You can either use Advance flight changes or contact your internal Travel Administrator for help.

  3. If your booking has a hotel/car, the Move Trip dialog is displayed.

    Click OK to continue.

  4. From the Modify Booking - Move Trip dialog, select the new departure and return dates for your flights.

    Tip

    The calendar for the departure flight will be restricted to dates before the return flight; therefore, if you change the date of your return flight first, the calendar dates will not be restricted.

  5. Click Search to display the available flights.

  6. Select the required flights and click Ok.

    The Finished dialog is displayed.

  7. Click Ok to display the Booking Details page.
