Select a Seat

Many travellers have their preferred seats and the airline and route will determine if seats can be requested with the airline before departure. Not all airlines and routes provide the same seat request options, but Zeno will make it clear to you which option is available for the selected flight.
Where the airline and route support seat selection, the specific seats can be selected using a seat map. In some instances, the seat map will also include pre-paid seating options.
Where a seat map is not available, the generic preference of window vs aisle can still be sent through as a request to the airline.
Or some airlines have an open seating option. This means a seat request is not offered before departure; instead, a boarding group is assigned at the time of check-in. This boarding group determines the order in which you will board the flight. You may then choose any open seat after boarding the flight.

How to select seats from a seat map?

  1. On the Extras page, click anywhere on the Seats row for the required flight.

    Where the flight supports seat selection functionality the SELECT link is displayed.

  2. Click the SELECT link to display the seating options.

  3. Select your seating preference and click the Save link.

    The selected seat is reflected on the seat row of the flight card.

  4. To change the selected seat click anywhere on the Seat row.

 

What to do when seat selection is not available?

Not all airlines or all routes support Seat Selection. In this instance, the Traveller's seating preference can still be requested with the airline. The exception to this rule is where an open seating policy applies. In this instance, will highlight this to you,

When a seat map is unavailable and the Traveller Profile does not have a seat preference stored in their profile the seat row will display 'Request preference' as shown below.

Where the Traveller Profile does have a seat preference stored in their profile this will be displayed in the Seat row and applied automatically.

To specify a seating preference...

  1. On the Extras page, click anywhere on the Seats row for the required flight.

  2. Click the Seat select drop-down list, select a seat preference and click Save.

  3. The seating preference is reflected on the seat panel of the flight card.

  4. To change the seating preference click anywhere on the Seats row.

    Note

    The seat preference selected will be updated to the Traveller Profile (Preferences - Other service Information) so this will default in the future.
