Upon creating an itinerary on the Setup page, if your Company Travel Policy does not support the itinerary, you will have the option to send the itinerary details to your Travel Management Company - also referred to as your 'Travel Expert'.
In some cases, where your itinerary requires special assistance, you will be required to contact your Travel Expert for assistance in making the booking.
Based on the itinerary details sent, your Travel Expert can book the travel on your behalf.
This is referred to as an Assisted Request.
How to send an Assisted Request?
The steps below assume the itinerary created is not supported by your Company Travel Policy.
- Start building your itinerary.
- A message is displayed upon completing the itinerary details.
- Click the SEND TO TRAVEL EXPERT button to send the itinerary details to your Travel Expert.
- Complete the SEND TO TRAVEL EXPERT form.
Tip
The fields displayed in the form will be based on your Company Travel Policy and therefore will differ from what is displayed in the example above.
- Click Send.
- A SUCCESS message will be displayed and you will be allocated a Booking ID.
- Click OK.
