It can be a good idea to contact your Guest Traveller before starting the booking process to ensure you have all the relevant details including membership details, any special dietary requirements, if travelling internationally - their date of birth etc.
In the current pandemic situation, the requirement to trace travellers is important. Airlines need to be able to provide data to government contact tracing systems when required. Capturing such information during the booking process is therefore required to comply with specific government legislation. To support passenger contact tracing requirements, all required personal information fields are now mandatory within the Guest Traveler booking form when making an airline booking in Zeno.
How to create a Guest Traveller?
- On the Setup page, enter the guest traveller's first name and/or surname in the Who's travelling search field.
The application will check to see if a traveller profile already exists. Where no match is found, the Add Guest Traveller button is displayed.
- Click the Add Guest Traveller button.
The Add Guest Traveller dialog is displayed.
- On the Add Guest Traveller dialog, complete the required fields.
Tip
The name as entered in the search criteria will be entered in the Guest Traveller details as First Name and Surname. Click to switch the First and Surnames. This can be handy where the name entered in the search criteria was the surname.
- Click the CREATE link.
Zeno will perform a secondary check to see whether a profile exists with the same First Name, Surname and Email address as entered on the Guest Traveller form.
If a Traveller Profile is not found with the same First Name, Surname and Email address - the Guest Traveller will automatically be applied to the booking.
If a Traveller Profile is found with the same First Name, Surname and Email address as entered for the Guest Traveller, it is mandatory to use the Traveller Profile. The Traveller Profile Exists dialog is displayed.
Click OK to select the Traveller Profile and click Apply to continue with the booking process.
